The Daikin Entra Series 12,000 BTU Ductless Mini-Split effectively heats and cools up to 550 square feet of medium-sized spaces. The Daikin mini-split air conditioner features eco-friendly R-32 refrigerant, inverter technology, and intuitive operating modes.

It is ideal for primary living areas like bedrooms, living rooms, and offices and spaces that a ducted HVAC doesn’t traditionally cover, like basements, attics, garages, and home additions.

  • Eco-Friendly Refrigerant: Uses the earth-friendly and efficient R-32 refrigerant. 

  • Large Operating Range: Heats and cools even when outdoor temperatures are as low as 5 degrees F or as high as 115 degrees F. 

  • Quiet Performance: It features whisper-quiet operation with an indoor noise level as low as 23 dB (similar to the sound of rustling leaves). 

  • Anti-Corrosion Treatment: An anti-corrosion treatment on the heat exchanger extends the outdoor unit's lifetime.

  • Titanium Apatite Photocatalytic Filter: This filter breaks down irritating odors, removes pollutants, and fights the spread of some pathogens. 

Note: This air conditioning system requires a 1/4 x 3/8 lineset and must be installed by a licensed technician.

Technology Driven Performance

The Daikin Entra is powered by an advanced variable-speed inverter compressor that adjusts the fan motor speed to match the user's settings, improving efficiency and reducing energy use. 

This system operates with these efficiency ratings: 18 SEER 2 (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio), 8.5 EER 2 (Energy Efficiency Ratio), and 9 HSPF 2 (Heating Seasonal Performance Factor).

Users have multiple operating modes beyond standard heat and cool settings, allowing them to tweak the device's output to fit their needs. 

  • Eco+ Mode: Users can prioritize energy savings and eco-friendly operation with the Eco+ Mode. 

  • Powerful Mode: Powerful Mode overrides all settings for 20 minutes, working at maximum capacity to reach a user's desired temperature as quickly as possible. 

  • Self-Diagnostics: Errors and other system messages are automatically detected and displayed on the digital screen.
